Papa was up town this morning, & this afternoon made a business trip out to George Sensel’s & then down to Red Bud. The St. Louis Diary quit giving the people skim milk now. We traded our old red Christmas tree today for a green one. There are 3 schools going together & give a play at the Bob White Grange on Christmas Eve, one school being the Fairview School which Reuben Kammler teaches. O.J. Maul is giving a Grand Opening Dance at Breezy Hill tonight. Elmer Kammler’s boy Billy has the chicken pox & also Perry Laut. There is to be a Euchre and Box Social in Tiptown on Dec. 28 Sun. night.
